Alfred “Butch” Buyatt age 90 of Jump River, passed away on Sat. Oct. 18 at his home. Butch is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hilma of Jump River, sons, Douglas (Dolly) Buyatt of Deerfield, William “Bink” (Chili) Buyatt of Pemberton, NJ. and Allen (Susan) Buyatt of Waukesha, seven grandchildren, many great Grandchildren, sister, Ardelle and brother, Lloyde Buyatt.
A Memorial Service for Alfered Buyatt will be held on Friday, Oct. 24 at 11:30 AM at the Junmp River Community Center with Pastor Barry Boyer officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Jump River with Military Graveside Rites. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of sevice on Friday. Plombon Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Robert V. Calkins, 84 of Glen Flora, died at his home on Sunday, Oct. 19. He is survived by, 9 children, Roberta Straight, Cindy Siverling, Debra Golat, Sandra Howard, Rebecca Calkins, Pamela Dedlow, Joseph, George, and John, 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Clyde Calkins, 2 sisters, Dorothy Miller and Fern Kolowitz.
Funeral services for Robert Calkins will be held at 11 AM on Friday, Oct. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Glen Flora with Pastor Ray Rogers officiating. Robert’s family will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and again for an hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Glenview Cemetery in Glen Flora.
Michael J. Kostka, 90 died on Wednesday Oct. 15th at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. He is survived by 6 children, Wayne of Osseo, Bruce of Tony, Brad of Ladysmith, Cindy Brunette of Oceanside, NY., Deanna Roberts of Osseo, and Mark of Holcombe. 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. 3 sisters in law, Marylou Kostka of Ladysmith, Gloria Kostka of St. Croix Falls and Tiny Kostka of Stevens Point.
Funeral Services for Michael Kostka will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Ladysmith with FR. Derek Sadowski officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The Kostka Family will receive friends after 4 PM on Monday, at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where there will be a Scripture Service at 7 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation at the Church on Tuesday prior to service time.
