Jerome Ewald “Jerry” Zimmerman, age 66, of Holcombe, passed away on Monday, August 18, with his life friend Jane James at his side.
Jerry is suvived by Jane James of Holcombe, two sons, John and (Katie Gorell) James of Eau Claire, Jay and Tiffany James of Menomonie, grandchildren, Owen, Jesse, Jascyna, and Zaylena, step-grandchildren, Caleigha, Caleb, and Zaynah, cousin, Riley (Doris) Fletschock of Eau Claire, and many other relatives and friends.
Services for Jerry will be held on Friday, August 29, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Ave., Altoona, at 11 AM with Father Derek Sakowski officiating. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Trinity Cemetery in Fall Creek. Cremation Society of Wisconsin is serving the family. Frieda E. Juergens, 84, of Ladysmith, Died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Ladysmith Care Community.
She is survived by her husband Louis

Memorial services for Frieda Juergens will be held on monday, August 25 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ladysmith. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Ladysmith. Frieda’s family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 24 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and again on Monday for an hour prior to service time at the church. Nash-Jacken Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Beverly Ann Jensen, age 84 of Ladysmith, died peacefully at Rusk County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 21st with her three children by her side.
Bev is survived by two daughters, Cindy Krings and Judy (Mike) Barfknect both of Ladysmith, a son Jeffrey Jensen of Holcombe, 4 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and she is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Kevin Thomas Voldberg, 53 of Ingram, died on Sat. Aug. 9th, at his home after battling heart complications for several years.
Kevin is survived by his life partner of 30 years Shirley McBride, his daughter Michelle Johnson of Ingram, 2 grandchildren, his brothers, Charles (Terri) Voldberg of Glen Flora and Daniel Voldberg of Illinois, his sister Laura (Jim) Kuntz of Ill., and eight nieces and nephews.
Services for Kevin Voldberg will be held Saturday, Aug. 23rd with visitation at 10 AM and service at 11 AM at Glen Flora Lutheran Church. Criag Voldberg will officiate. A cremation is planned.
Sr. Rosemary Mayer, OSM 86, died on Monday, Aug. 4th at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Fl from injuries she suffered in a July 28th automobile accident in Orlando.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Peter Mayer and Joseph Mayer, both of Addison, Il., William Mayer of Carmel, IN., Nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and the Sisters of the Servants of Mary.

Mary Gregor 94 of Aurora, CO., and formerly of Ladysmith, died on Friday, Aug. 15th in Colorado.
She is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter, George of Colorado Springs, CO., Timothy, William and Jacqueline Yanni all of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 sister Elaine McGlone of Ladysmith and 2 brothers-in-law, Roger Albus of Ladysmith and Thomas Kolterman of Racine.

Verla Thompson, 88, formerly of Ladysmith died at her sister’s home in Carpentersville, IL on Sunday, Aug. 17.
She is survived by her sister Hilda Librande of Illinois, 3 half-siblings, Gary Cummings of Hawaii, Joanne Warden of MN. and Dennis Cummings of Mississippi.

Florence V. Hoeft 80, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13th at home in Bruce. She is survived by, 2 sisters, Victoria and Kathryn, both of Bruce, Aunts and Uncle, Frances Hoeft, Floy Wishard, Rose Martin and Leo Hoeft. Nieces, nephews, cousins.

Kurt D. Gerken, 88 passed away June 3rd in Florida. He is survived by his wife Marjorie and their 3 children, Kurt Gerken, Eric Gerken and Karen Gerken Burch, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 nieces.

Brenda Kathlene Mikkelsen (nee Wilke), 46, Glen Flora,passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9th, at the Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith, after a period of illness of approximately 2 years.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 7 years, Lucas Mikkelsen of Glen Flora, 2 sons, Alexander Drinka of Chilli, WI. and Tyler Mohr (Connie Poeschel) of Neillsville, a daughter Ashley Mohr of Glen Flora, a brother-in-law Bernard Mikkelsen and a sister-in-law Diane Mikkelsen of Glen Flora. She is also survived by her parents Virgil and Ellen Wilke of Chilli. WI., Brothers Jim (Roxanne) Wilke, Arlyn Wilke, Gary ( Debbie) Wilke of Marshfield and sister Marlea (Tom) Ator of Loon Lake Washington, and several pet doggies.
