>>Brewers Wipe Out Miami Lead, Beat Marlins 12-3

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  The Milwaukee Brewers were trailing 3-2 when they scored three times in the fifth inning.  Seven more runs in the sixth gave them a 12-3 rout of the visiting Miami Marlins Thursday night.  Centerfielder Lorenzo Cain pounded two doubles, a homer and scored four times.  Ryan Braun’s three-run pinch-hit home run gave him one-thousand career runs batted in.  Chase Anderson picked up his second win while giving up three runs on five hits in five-and-one-third innings.  Former Brewer outfielder Lewis Brinson homered twice for the Marlins.  Right-hander Jhoulys Chacin starts tonight’s game for the Brewers in Miller Park.

>>Former Packer RB Found Guilty Of Child Abuse, Disorderly Conduct

(Green Bay, WI)  —  Former Packer running back Ahman Green has been found guilty of child abuse and disorderly conduct.  Green says the incident with his teenage daughter was a case of “parental discipline.”  He entered an Alford plea Thursday in Brown County Circuit court.  That plea means he maintains his innocence, but acknowledges there is enough evidence to find him guilty.  Green admitted hitting his daughter with an open palm as they argued over her doing the dishes.  The court’s decision means he has to write a letter of apology to her and can’t have any unsupervised contact with his daughter.  He will be on probation for 18 months.

>>Bucks’ Jabari Parker Hungry For More Minutes

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  Milwaukee Bucks forward  Jabari Parker fought his way back from a severe knee injury.  Now, he feels like he’s just doing a lot of sitting.  As the Bucks playoff series against Boston enters game three tonight (Friday) at 8:30 P-M, Parker has been on the court for just 25 of the 101 minutes.  He says he has to figure out some way to get on Coach Joe Prunty’s “good side.”  Prunty denies that Parker is in his doghouse.  He says the Bucks are down two-games-to-none due to turnovers and that’s not on Parker.  Parker scored in double figures in each of Milwaukee’s final six regular season games.  He’s shooting just one-for-seven in the first two playoff games.
