>>Brewers Begin Series With Mets Tonight In New York

(Flushing, NY)  —  The Brewers are in New York to begin a three-game series with the Mets tonight (Friday) at Citi Field.  Zach Davies will get the start for the Crew, who sit at 7-and-6 on the season after taking two-of-three in St. Louis this week.  The Mets will counter with left-hander Steven Matz.  New York is off to a 10-and-1 start.

 

>>Bucks Open Playoff Series With Celtics Sunday

(Boston, MA)  —  The Bucks will open up their first round playoff series against the Celtics on Sunday with Game One in Boston.  Game Two will also be in Beantown on Tuesday night, before the series shifts to Milwaukee for Game’s Three and Four next Friday and Sunday, respectively.  The teams split their four meetings this season, with the Bucks winning the most recent matchup at home last week.

 

>>Packers Reach One-Year Deal With House

(Green Bay, WI)  —  The Packers are bringing back cornerback Davon House. The Packers have reportedly reached a one-year deal with House. He must pass a physical examination.  The 28-year-old had 44 tackles, one sack and one interception in 12 games last season with Green Bay.  House has posted seven picks over his seven-year career.

 

>>Marquette Hires Killings As Assistant Coach

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  Marquette is filling the void left by the departure of assistant coach Chris Carrawell.  The Golden Eagles have named Dwayne Killings an assistant to fill out the coaching staff under Steve Wojciechowski.  Killings spent the last two years as an assistant at U-Conn and five years at Temple.
