Early Friday morning the Ladysmith Police Department responded to Rusk County Memorial Hospital’s parking lot on a report of a possible domestic between a husband and wife. Reports stated that the female subject had damaged the vehicle of the male subject but it was later found that the broken door panel that was reported had been broken before the incident. Several hours later on Friday afternoon, the Ladysmith Police Department responded to another possible disorderly conduct. The grandmother of a child was concerned about his safety and well-being. The grandmother reported that her daughter, the mom of the child in question, became verbally and physically abusive with her. She also reported that she is concerned that the 3 year old child is being neglected and that there has been drug use around him. The mother of the child stated that her mother is trying to cause arguments and that she was not physically abusive with her. The case was referred to the DA and DHHS. However after leaving the residence, Ladysmith Police were called back due to another verbal argument. The mother of the 3 year old was cited for disorderly conduct.
